Nomad Foods Announces Plans to Appoint New Presidents for Southern Europe and Central Europe

WOKING, England – 8 April, 2026 – Nomad Foods Limited (NYSE: NOMD) has today announced plans to further strengthen its leadership structure with the appointment of two new Presidents, who will both join the Executive Team and report directly to Chief Executive Officer, Dominic Brisby.

Jon Fernandez de Barrena will join Nomad Foods on 13 April 2026 as President Southern Europe. In this newly created role, Jon will assume responsibility for leading Nomad Foods’ business in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Adriatics. He joins from Alvinesa Natural Ingredients where he has served as Chief Executive Officer since July 2023.

The Company has also announced its intention to appoint a President to lead Central Europe, later this year. This role will oversee Nomad Foods’ commercial operations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Additional details regarding this appointment will be shared in due course.

In their respective roles, the Southern Europe and Central Europe Presidents will lead the Company’s iconic portfolio of brands such as Findus, iglo, Ledo, and Frikom. The news also follows Nomad Foods’ appointment of Simon Ball as President UK & Ireland, responsible for the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessie’s, and Goodfella’s brands, in March 2026.

In addition, Nomad Foods has confirmed that it plans to appoint a Chief Marketing Officer, who will join the Executive Team and lead a strengthened and more unified Marketing function spanning brand development, communications, RDQ and innovation to drive stronger commercial outcomes.
