As members of the UN’s Race to Zero campaign, we’re well underway with our actions to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Our Climate Transition plan is driving progress against both near- and long-term targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative, We have carefully assessed climate risks, as detailed in our sustainability report. Learn more Resource Efficiency Our Environment policy underpins programmes to reduce waste and water consumption. We’re committed to halving food waste by 2030 through process optimisation, repurposing food loss for animal feed and donating safe ‘b-grade’ products to charities and community organisations. Our Packaging policy sets out how we aim to reduce packaging volumes, achieve 100% recyclable consumer packaging by 2030 and promote packaging reuse. Our design for recycling principles are applied to all packaging research and development. We’re continuously enhancing water monitoring and reduction initiatives, with an initial focus on high water-consuming sites.
